Light Emitting Diodes general parameters

MID IR Light Emitting Diodes (MID IR LEDs) are manufactured based on A4B6 semiconductor materials and it's alloys and operates at spectral range between 2,5...4,5 microns. These LED's are widely used in different analytic instruments for gas and water quality detection. Its high power output gives the possibility to use it in high sensitive analytic instruments with extremely low power consumption.

We are using photo luminescent principals of operation for such devices therefore we have very serious advantages such as high power output and extremely high stability resulting in very long MTBF of more than 200,000 hours.

Our LED's are manufactured in several variants of house: special screw house M8, TO-5 house, TO-46 house and also optionally we are manufacturing LED's assembled on Peltier Thermo Electro Coolers (TECs) in TO-8 houses. For M8 and TO-46 houses we are optionally assemble our LEDs with parabolic reflector for better light focusing.

LED's are manufactured with the window from AR coated silicon; optionally we are also assembling it with interference filters for getting necessary for customer spectrum density of light.

On regular base we are manufacturing LEDs type LE42 and LE34, but our technology (patent RU 22008268 C2) gives the possibility to manufacture LED's with emitting wavelength in range between 2,7 and 4,5 microns. We are ready to investigate the certain request of every customer and to offer you the best solution for your tasks.
